Stewardship is a commitment we make once a year and live throughout the year.  We promise to give of our financial resources, our time, our talent and ourselves.  While we are giving to God and to our church, this spiritual discipline is a gift we give ourselves as well – an opportunity to express our love of God and God’s community by sharing our gifts.

Each year the Stewardship committee works on our pledge drive that encourages our members to give so the church can continue to prosper and fulfill its broader mission of Love in Action.  Often that means money because that is how we pay the bills and plan for the future.   But, as mentioned above, we also ask for the pledge of talent – from being an usher to a greeter to singing in our wonderful choir and much more.  Most important, though, is simply having you here to join us in worshiping God.

Over the years, St. Andrew UCC has been blessed in having hard working, dedicated stewards of our church.   Many people, far too numerous to list, have made significant commitments of their time and money to make St. Andrew a better church.  We thank them – and we thank all of you who currently follow in those big footsteps.
