New members are always welcome at St. Andrew, either as Full Members who live in the area year-round or as Associate Members who choose to keep their membership in their “home” churches as well. Both Full and Associate members enjoy the same rights and privileges at St. Andrew.

Anyone interested in becoming a member of St. Andrew may speak with the minister or a deacon to begin the process of official membership.  Several times during the year the minister will announce an upcoming New Member Sunday as an invitation to those interested. Baptism may be performed when needed.

New members are received several times during the year. A hospitality and information gathering with the minister allows prospective members to learn about St. Andrew and about the United Church of Christ as a denomination.  Sponsors are chosen for each new member to serve as guides. On New Member Sunday, these sponsors introduce prospective members to the congregation and stand with them as they are received into membership and welcomed by all.

Approximately 200 members fill the rolls at St. Andrew. Many of these members attend the church as Friends and Visitors before making the commitment to join as members. We are happy to welcome these Friends and Visitors to our worship services and activities, and look forward to the time when they will become members.
