New members are always welcome at St. Andrew UCC, either as Full Members who live in the area year-round or as Associate Members who choose to keep their membership in their “home” churches as well. Both Full and Associate members enjoy the same rights and privileges.

Anyone interested in becoming a member of St. Andrew UCC may speak with Rev. Paul or a deacon to begin the process of official membership. Several times during the year he will announce an upcoming New Member Sunday as an invitation to those interested. Baptism may be performed when needed.

A New Member Class with Rev. Paul allows prospective members to learn about St. Andrew UCC and about the United Church of Christ as a denomination. Sponsors are chosen for each new member to serve as guides. On New Member Sunday, these sponsors introduce prospective members to the congregation and stand with them as they are received into membership and welcomed by all.

Many of our members attend St. Andrew UCC as Friends and Visitors before making the commitment to join as members. We are happy to welcome these Friends and Visitors to our worship services and activities, and look forward to the time when they will become members.
